Heavy Use 5/8 Hairpin legs are the strongest hairpin legs available. Suitable for slabs and other heavy tops. All legs are coated with a wax. We recommend getting screws that best match your top. If you want to optimize the full strength of these legs, select a screw that is rated for over 800 lbs. Please contact us with any questions. Why are these the strongest hairpins? They are 5/8 round bar, which is much thicker then 1/2 and 3/8. We kept two screws holes near the weld for optimum security to your top. We weld around the top and through the plate allowing for 800 lbs capacity for super duty use. Unlike some shops that plug weld from the back and are prone to falling apart, our legs are made to last.

These super duty legs are made by hand in Philadelphia,Pa USA

Each leg is sold individually.

Legs bent around a tighter radius stiffens the leg and makes it more rigid whereas a larger radius nose gives the steel more room to wiggle and bounce causing a shakier table. Our legs have a thinner nose for a more stable leg.

How do I figure out where the bottom of a hairpin will end up on the floor relative to where I secure them to a table?

Multiply .144 by the size of your legs and that will give you the distance from the welds to where the bottom lines up on the ground.

Does it cost extra to ship outside of the contiguous US?

Why do you give tek screws aka pan head self tapping screws with every order? Why not give wood screws?

We thought of the best screw for all applications that is cheap enough to offer free of charge. Our best answer to this is the tek screw. Its self drilling so you cant strip the wood, they drill through steel so you dont always need a hole to drill in and they are cheap. We do reccomend to use these until you are able to use a good wood screw that fits your top perfectly. The screws we provide are meant to be a quick fix. The ideal screw would be a wood screw. And you would drill a pilot hole first before you secure the screw. We've honestly never had any complaints except from people who notice they are not for wood. We appreciate this feedback. Please contact us with what screw you need. We do not sell screws at this time. Thanks
